With playgrounds closed and many of us shut out from daycare and kindergarten, these are tough times for young families. With this in mind, Carnegie Toy Library is pleased to announce we will be reopening our popular Click and Collect service – though hopefully not for long as we all hope things will improve shortly.
When does it start?
Click & Collect will commence on Saturday the 28th August on the following days/times:
Saturday - 9am to 12pm
Wednesday - 5pm to 8pm
To collect toys for this Saturdays sessions you will need to have your collection time & toys selected by this Wednesday 25th August. Please make your bookings & toy reservations 1 week in advance.
To return and borrow toys please book your Click & Collect session and reserve your toys online 1 week prior to your appointment time to allow for your toys to be selected. Failure to do this means that we don't have enough time to collate your order. Once you have reserved your toys please don't make any changes - as we will be in the process of collating your order. As always, cleaning your toys before they are returned is ESSENTIAL. Any member who returns their toys in an unsatisfactory condition risks having their membership voided. To give people time to play and rebook, loan periods will run for four weeks. Members must live within 5km of the toy library and come to pick up the toys during their one daily outing for essential items. To allow for social distancing, please only send one family member to return and collect toys. If you choose to keep your current toy loans through lockdown, they will be renewed for you and no additional late fees will be charged.
