Introducing Renae our new co-ordinator!

Say hello to our new Open Session Co-ordinator Renae, who starts with us this week. Renae comes to us with a wealth of library knowledge and experience, with a Diploma of Library and information services and working as a volunteer at Collingwood toy library.

Find out a little about Renae...

1. What was your favourite toy growing up?

I actually used to love playing outside a lot. I lived in a small town that was surrounded by bushland, so my siblings and I used to go out exploring and building cubby houses in the trees.

2. What is your favourite thing about the toy library?

The lovely people I get to work with. The committee, the customers, and the volunteers are all amazing!

3. What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?

I lived in Montreal in Canada for 5 years, and it was such a beautiful city. I also went to see Niagara Falls while I was in Canada and it was a really spectacular experience.

6. What's your favourite quote?

7. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would love to travel all over Europe and explore all of their amazing libraries.

8. What do you like to do on a rainy day?

Go for a walk in the rain!

9. As a child, what did you wish to become when you grew up?

An actress. I still might be some day.
