We’re looking forward to welcoming you back inside the toy library from November 11. Please read on for a reminder on how we’ll be operating in a COVID-safe way, PLUS information about our Christmas closure and the return of overdue fines.
We’ll be ending click & collect and returning to our usual hours from November 11. Please keep the following in mind when you come see us:
Masks are compulsory inside the toy library (includes children over 12)
At this stage we can only allow 10 people inside (not including staff and volunteers) – including children, so please come alone if possible
It is crucial that all toys are CLEANED before being returned. They will be checked and you will be asked to use our cleaning station to clean any returned toy which is visibly dirty. Please see here for tips on cleaning toys.
To give members access to our wide range of toys, we have deleted holds made for toys through Mibase (unless you had already booked a click and collect appointment to pick them up). So please come in, browse and discover!
We need members on duty again! Doing your duty is an important part of supporting the toy library and keeping us running smoothly. Please sign up.
As we’re returning to normal-ish operations, overdue fines will be enforced from November 30 – so if you’ve had some of our toys through lockdown, please bring them back before then!
We’ll be taking a break over December-January, with December 19 our last day of borrowing for the year. The toy library will reopen on January 6. Thank you for your support throughout 2020. We look forward to seeing you soon – stay safe and keep playing.
