Events Co-ordinator

The Events Co-ordinator is responsible for managing our 2 annual events - Open Day & Party in the Park. This involves doing all the preparation of setting up rosters, purchasing relevant supplies, and co-ordinating member volunteers on the day of the event. Attending monthly committee meetings is required in the lead up to events.

Tasks

  • Manage and review the planning lists for events and execute accordingly

  • Attend and manage the events on the day

  • Ensure people are rostered on to help support with tasks for the event

  • Organise supplies for the event

  • Ensure Toy Library toys are reserved for the event

  • Liaise with roster co-ordinator to manage the event roster 

  • Liaise with social co-ordinator to advertise events to members via social media & email

  • Liaise with 3rd parties in regards to the event (council, sponsors, etc)

  • Keep a record of all expenses and takings on the day to determine the profit
