Meet Amay - Our Volunteer Coordinator

How long have you been a TL member? I’ve been a TL member for almost a year. Why did you join? Firstly, I have always wanted to give back to the community that’s been giving their all. Secondly, I’ve heard so much about the toy library and after joining, I can’t express how much my son and I love the library. What do you like about the Toy Library? Everything from the selection of toys available, the library itself and most of all, the amazing committee members. The toy library has all the toys that are suitable from newborn to little people be it toys, puzzles or building blocks.

What is your committee role and what does it involve? My role is Volunteer coordinator. It involves recruiting volunteers, organising duty for them and the constant catch up so ensure volunteers not only contributing their time but also enjoying themselves at our toy library. Do you have a favourite toy/type of toy?

My family loves the magnetic tiles. We never fail to build towers and maze every single day. Any tips for new members? Join us. We are a fun bunch of people besides the amazing toys we offer.
