A massive thank you to Palaeontologist Adele for being our very last (but not least!) roarsome special guest at Saturday Storytime in July.

Adele read two fantastic books, brought in fossil and dino models (so cool! šŸ˜), and taught us all about Australia’s ancient creatures. (She even taught plenty to the adults!).

She’s not just a dino expert - Adele is a truly amazing scientist; she discovered and named Ferrodraco lentoni, the most complete flying reptile (pterosaur) ever found in Australia! She has lived on a remote cattle station, works with several museums across the country and is on a mission to make science fun and inclusive for everyone. She even has her own palaeontology podcast you can listen to at home (see final slide in this post for more details if you have dino-lover little kids (or adults!) at home!).

Thanks for the fun, the fossils and the inspiration, Adele - we are so grateful for your time, enthusiasm, kindness and eagerness to share the joy of learning.

(Please note all children who are pictured have received consent from their parents to have their faces posted on our social media).
